You need to run the console to run a CHKDSK on your local drive to find and fix the error that is causing this problem.

Check your Boot.CFG file. Sometimes that can be edited which makes it a litle pesky to deal with.

Yeah it sounds as if it may be the router. Check that and see if it still continues. You never know when you're not controlling every aspect of the process. Glad I could help in some form.

So, you want to make it possible not even to open the thing if mounted? If you want that, you may as well zip it in a rar archive and password protect that. Use Winrar to do this.

Sounds like you have some performance holes in SQL server 2005. In your application, you need to do some testing for queries. There are a bunch of apps you can dl for free that can do this for you....

Yes, the only way to take a screenshot on the same machine is to have a clipboard available, obviously, there is no such way of doing this from the same machine while you're in the reformat process...
