ok reboot in safe mode then load norton and make sure it's set to search and destroy, if that doesnt work.. remove it from services.msc and delete any reg keys refering to the file also stop...

don't think so, but you should know that yahoo messenger has spy ware in it (notice it takes up about 25meg of ram) everyhting else seems ok

Yup make sure isn't there any more, delete all cookies, and temp internetfiles, and then up your IE security and then restart visit yahoo and see if it still happens?

ok go to run type regedit, browse, down to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer then edit the key for main search bar, and put about:blank in there insted

you could always get a good, FREE anti virus from, http://sohpos.com free for home users and easy to update, doesn't use up alot of sys res, and doesn't take over!! unlike norton, mcafee etc.
