I mean that I cannot access my DESKTOP from my laptop via my router until the "Address Type" on my DESKTOP resolved to "Assigned by DHCP"...which, for some reason takes about 20 minutes.

I have considered that but I really like the features of vBulletin. As a forum I need only a few hacks programmed for vBulletin so that the site would work like I intend it to. I might ask around...

I thought I understood the difference but when I read a post here that discussed vBindex I am not sure I see how it differs from what I would call a cms.
