The layout is nice, although the gradients could get more work. I am sure when you'll have the content ready too, the layout will look very nice. The colours are pleasant .. blue is always a good...

I am using photoshop. Tried Gimp, but couldn't find the time to install it :D I think it's a nice program for people who are not as pretentious with graphics. Many people have good words about it, so...
