when i get to the samba directoy in the terminal and i type ./configure gives me no such file or directory...
i get stuck on that part
THE rom file that BOX suggested should i download the client...

I download to the documente folder so my directory is
/home/juan/documents and then the samba files
i have tried what big B sugegsted i do cd to the directoy but when i type ./configure it gives me...

i have mandrake 9.1

Also another thing, how do i make the clock be on time

I have downloaded the tar.gz file
When i unzipped it it says samba 3. something
I go to the console and and i go to the directory where is the samba folder is locate it
And the nexty step it says...

I already extract the files to my documents and is name samba-3.0.1

no they are 2 diferent Pc's and i just upgrade my PC to win2k

I have downloaded samba but i do not know how to install it
Somebody told me that i would have to do it by commands, i have tried to look inside the folder i downloaded and it does not seem to have...

it hangs after the screen that gives u the options to choose linux, linuxgr and 2 other options, after i choose linux it seems that is loading and i do not get the log in screen it hang right before...

i installed mandrake 9.1 and i cannot log into linux at all

i just installed mandrake and when i boot my machine it jsut sits on the background of my desktop and would not load or give me the log in screen
any suggestions???
