What exactly should I change the boot file info to? In the default operating system box...I got "XP Professional Setup" and I also have "XP Professional"...so I'm assuming that it should be changed...

Thx for the reply...but the hard-drive hasn't been formatted...so it gives me the option to boot normally XP OS...so i can go to the desktop normally.

You may need to use the windows CD that came with the computer to reinstall the corrrupt/missing file...please proved the spec details about you computer and how long after you had the computer did...

does your pc have the requirements needed to run the game...if there's not enough memory (and points brought out by jabberwock486...) then chances are your system will definately freeze up.

Check the resolution size and the physical settings(for your monitor)..
