yes you can use them simultaneously, its like playing solitaire and hearts at the same time...just you have to choose one as your default browser.

I was wondering if you can use thunderbird with an hotmail account? If so, is it POP3 or IMAP? Also Im not sure what the incoming and outgoing mail addresses are.

It is hit and miss, some sites it will not go back and then some it will. even here at Daniweb I have to hit back 3 times. But mostly all of the sites are this way.

I know firefox is probably a better browser, but I am still so used to internet explorer I cant change. Anyways, when Im browsing and I want to go back, I have to click the "back" button like 3 times...

First of all I would try uninstalling and then reinstalling your modem. See what that does for ya, if that doesnt work, im not sure, maybe some of these other geeks can help ya :p

How much ram do you have? XP uses alot more ram than ME does, Also explorer has to use alot of memory. So that may be your problem, either go back to ME until you get more ram or just get more ram...

Do you have the latest version of IE? If so you might want to check into using a different browser such as, Mozilla Firefox, or Opera. There are many different internet browsers. Have you tried...
