Win98se is an awesome OS,its good to see you running it!

All newer versions of DirectX should be able to handle SW meant for earlier versions of it (I would think anyway)

Goto start/settings and press CTRL while clicking 'taskbar & start menu' and you will see the new tab (I didnt know that was there till today!!!!)

With all that space YOU DONT HAVE A MEMORY PROBLEM BELIEVE ME!! (Not for 98se anyway)

98se only recognizes 512megs of ram though (Without reg editing) which may be why...

Its only 100 something megs so i reckon it can be :) (Im not sure though)

I think you could have also edited the system.ini file and removed that reference :) (Its better clearing the reg though (Which will remove it from the file on next save of the reg))
