yeah thats da problem,never installed it thou.gave me enough nightmares jst by using it for a couple of days lol(maybe da machine was faulty i dunno)

yea even two 8800GTs on sli can't cope with that game at high settings ! that game simply put is a beast....but don't think ram is an option cuz 64bit OSs comes with an added bonus called driver...

you only need an ultra high end pc to run crysis(and dude believe me that game uses resources like mad)and da rig you're building aint that ultra high end...and if i were you bro i'd go for a new C2D

you'll probably have to get a new casing too thou cuz i don't think any other mobo'll fit in ur current casing...And ya get it checked...Bout da os and files,not sure bout da os cuz of driver issues...

ok get a P35 mobo(either asus or gigabyte,gr8 overclockers),2 ddr2 800 ram sticks(for dual channel)...don't go for ddr3 cuz well it jst aint worth it yet :)...oh and a comfy chair and some choc chip...
