I was using a proxy to access this site and anything else that was blocked.

I ran sdfix before your post, and everything's running pretty smooth now. MBA-M installed and I'm running a scan now, I'll fix everything it finds then post a log to see if there's still anything...

I uninstalled it which consisted of me looking at an uninstall menu for 15 minutes then killing the process. The installer will no longer work.

I did as you said, but it still wouldn't install. I did get it to install by renaming the installer to eatthis.exe, but then the program itself wouldn't run.
