I recently received an email from the Yahoo! Publisher Network newsletter about them now sending out invitations to those who are signed up for the newsletter to beta test the yet to be released...

um my main page stayed at a 5 but my news subdomain climbed to 4 and so did some subpages under it:)

google and major SE's will either ban your site or remove you from the index if they discover doorway pages. google states this under their guidelines for webmasters.

no internal linking of content making indexing difficult.

no blog updates or announcements from google. maybe 2morrow we will since 2day is memorial day.

there was a thread on sitepoint that someone posted that said they had 67/10 pr on the toolbar just before it went unavailable.

i believe they are recompiling the google public pagerank. my reasons for believing so:
1.backlinks were updated last week
2.many have had 67/10 Pr before this happened
3.rumors of an algorithm...

it may be by chance that google.ca uses 2 different indexes so one of them is out of date.

mine is still a 5 but earlier this week google reportedly had no backlinks to my site but then it returned. all i can say is that google is changing something...

yes google is preffered by techies overall but the common person uses google as well just not the other search features such as scholar search and os search.

in a blog of theirs about this, they said they received several requests from consumers who wanted to see slashdot feed on google.

i know, it seems they are taking a page from yahoo on this one. hope this doesnt become main page technology as google wont be the same again!!!

yeah since my google search history wasnt a big hit, google needed another to track pages for their advertising network and statistics;)

google values ur website which most likely wont give you a duplicate content penatly, it will just disregard one of pages most likely.

O.o, i forgot that web accelerator uses google machines to cache pages;)

google will eventually catch on to the redesign and unindex the indexed pages once it realizes they dont exist anymore. it also will eventually adapt to the new setup. you have to give google time to...

yeah i do personally feel MSN and Yahoo do not play the ranking game fairly by putting those who dish out money to be #1 then those who truely deserve it
