Norton doesn't need a backup; may be you meant a replacement. As other falks have said, don't run two AV programs in the same time.

Unfortunately, the problem is still there. There is hardly any difference in boot time, actually it looks a bit longer.

Did you want me to clean the log or were you just commenting that the log...
