Yes, firefox does occasionally have exploitable holes. However, they are patched faster than IE holes are (google it, don't ask me to go find evidence for you).

This isn't an issue on your computer, it's either with how your LAN is configured (unlikely) or your ISP has problems.

kosmoe, the fact is that it does get fixed faster. IE gets fixed in a few months, firefox in a few days (the max is usually a week) if you use the nightly build. I don't need a news article to back...
