well you probably right in the thinking that this has something to do with the spyware removal because most toolbars are spyware. Having toolbars is not good for your internet explorer it hinders it....

download hijackthis 1.98.2 from softpedia.com and scan with that. when the scan completes you are probably not know what to do so just hit save log save it as a .txt file and then post the log here...

try downloading and scanning with ad-aware, spybot S&D. After that download hijack this from softpedia.com. You must save it to your hard drive and then close all browser windows before scanning....
