well really you don't need to overclock these HT and dual core CPU's.the HT CPU's fools the Motherboard into thinking there is 2 processors and the dual core is 2 processors.

Well this could be a couple of things.

you may need new thermal compound on CPU and your fan may be going on the heat sink.

Your powersupply could be failing.

Have you tried uninstalling the game then reinstall?
