yes Ash B is on the same page as me - pop ups are intrusive and make the page slow because there are hardly any people without a blocker
flashing as or "click this its really scary" ads are annoying...

yeah theres a new system called zetaboards that is run by the makers and it has a google like captcha
I guess I should just email them with the suggestion of having a better captcha for invision

the captcha I have is just numbers. And i cant even change that, sounds like I should contact invision

funny that you said that Dani, because thats the one I have had in my mind. all of my spammers are using .ru domains, I ban them and their I.P Adresses, but seeing as they are probably using proxies....

The advertisements dont really bother me. I would become a sponsor but like most have said. we are all broke because we are too busy buying gadgets :)

i have waited months and paid heaps of advertising and only have 16 members :(

usually i do it on a saturday because the members wont have work or school etc.

i tried this on my forum....i just got heaps of meaningless and spam posts

you can just do what i do--have my url at my signature and then when posting something like your topic i say -how does this blah blah blah on my forum (link at signature)
