burning ozone? is that sorta like a weaker smell of burning plastic?

By the way, it could be any component overheating.

my old amd athlon X2 5200+ got up to 100 degrees centegrade.

$600 looks like the spree of the ultra all over again!

hi im just wondering if the Nvidia 9800GTX has 2 GPU cores, it says so on the box but i don't trust it.

there is no option for SLI, i cant find it if there is one because i don't know where to...

have you ever had another Nvidia GPU?

if so use a proper driver uninstaller and uninstall all Nvidia display drivers.

then re-install the latest drivers for the 8600gt.

not really, the GPU doesnt suffer much if the games configuration is set for multiple display enhancement in Nvidia control panel.

i only have one 9800GTX and it runs perfectly with dual displays...

if the cable is damaged, you will have to get a new one.

Not all damage can be seen because inside that big black wire is more wires.

inside of one of those wires might be a break.

anti-aliasing makes those zigzaggy lines in games and things smooth.

Anisotropic filtering smoothes the textures so, for example a grass texture will blend nicely with A mud texture.

to be honest, you cannot run crysis with the current hardware available on the market with all the eye candy.

even my nvidia geforce 9800GTX can't play crysis on very high unless its a small map...

hi i have a AWA 81cm tv that has a pc input but i had to use a DVI to VGA in order to get it to work.

its max resolution is 1600x1200 but windows only detects 1360x768!

i wana know how to max...
