ive tried many times, on my pc to get safe mode you need to press esc instead of F8, F8 only gives options on what to boot the computer with. but for some reason ESC doesnt want to work!

not sure what you mean by the system posting... but what happens is this...

turn on pc, beeps, everything is normal black windows xp screen comes on with the loading bar. then i get a blank...

i just did what you suggested, and my computer will not even turn on now I just get a black screen and it reboots everytime. cant even load up the page to start it in safe mode :( using my brothers...

yeh it says im connected.

it only effects the websites i listed, but the whole computer is acting weird, definately not just an internet problem. i'll give AVG a go, cheers!

i have Mcafee but its only 7.0

done many virus scans, mcafee picks up nothing, online ones pick up quite a few but are unable to get rid of them

yes its all connected! everything works (slowly) and the pc has become slow outside of the internet too
