I got my task bar back!! I went to the Task Manager and Ended the explorer.exe process, restarted and there it is. Now I'm not even sure if my screen is flickering or if I am just tired. THANK YOU...

oh - last but not least... Ever since the Syamntec Tech "fixed" my computer last Monday I get a message something like this on restart "Windows cannot find file sysvx.exe." Every single start up.
