Bah, both Yahoo and Microsoft have voiced objections to Google's crown... looks like Yahoo is getting more active, but personally; I'd rather trust Google's adverts near my emails than whatever Yahoo...

Satalite signals are beamed over a narrow area on Earth. They are not transmitted 360 degrees - you couldn't use a dish to transmit them then, adn it would be thhousands of times more expensive.
