I've just had another look at the machine, looks like the gpu fan is dead, when the machine powers on the fans normally spin at...

that's the thing, this system uses a discrete card rather than an integrated solution, i've had a look and the card can definitely be removed, that's why i'm asking if my gpu is definitely dead, if...
