Use better cable. That's a big help sometimes. (Especially if you made a coaxal cable and didn't buy it. They're hard to make!)

Trouble shooting questions: (Laugh if you want, but these things do happen!)
1) Is the monitor plugged in to the wall and computer?
2) Is the monitor turned on?
3) Have you checked for bent pins...

Do you have another monitor? Try unplugging the current one and plug in the other one. See if the problem still occurs.

What I would do is set the 80 gig up as master and install a fresh copy of the OS on it. Then, with the 4.3 gig drive as slave, I'd make a directory and copy the contents of the drive in to that...

It's either bad driver or bad firmware. I can't get either, since the company is out of business. Sad, they really had something with this card.

Reset them. If the monitor isn't working so you can, look for a reset switch somewhere on the case. Some have them, some don't.
