open msconfig.
one at a time, type in the word in the "startup item" column into the google query. search.
you now know what you have.
unistall that program if you wish.

assuming you both have plugged in the dsl filters between the wall and each and every phone, and the the dsl "modem" has the dsl light...

downloaded any programs and loaded any of them?

system restore is ==not== for recovering files and folders. it is there to fix what software did to your drivers & .dll's, etc.

use window's search for pictures and limit it to between certain...
