start by using Fdisk to delet any partitions and recreating them. then try formatting, it could be as simple as that. ill do some research and see what i can find out.

yes, give us the video card, make model, and if you cant find that out. Look for the FCCID number, with that you can find out everything about the card you will need to know.

why not just let it install the version on the disk, even if you have 7, just let it install 5. after ur done with the game just re-get direct x

thats what i always use to do with games.

it sounds like some settings got bounced out of place, and your going to have to dig through your display settings to figure it out.

open up the machine, there should be an FCC ID that tells you the make model and what it is.

Post the ID number and ill look for the driver or you can look here....

i happen to like win ME :P, never had any problems with it!!!! though i must say i liked Windows 2k the most. (over all the OS's ive used 2k was my fav, then XP, then ME, LinuxFedora, 98,95)

It wants you to update i guess, but i dont use quicktime at all Quicktime=devil. also use somthing more like paint or, an image view program to look at pictures. theres no reason to be using a tool...
