try above options , if not then download ravmon removal tool , it is stand alone chir.b removal tool , this virus removes folder option , disable regedit , taskmanager ...with place autorun.inf file...

it might b due to some new driver issue either it is installed for a new hardware or a new software that requires driver , ie daemon tools ,

remember and redo any changes one by one to check what...

it is most likely problem with ur hd , try to unplug hd , re-plug it , i mean its cables , and c if problem is there or not , or u can always use above 2 options too , but most likely it is hd error...
