Hello. I am sure there are other posts regarding this same problem, but I could not find one on this site.. So I am posting a new one.

Yesterday my laptop was infected with some sort of virus...

I also went to the link that SnowDog provided for removing MyWebSearch manually. I had already done that. When I try and search for the folders to delete they are no where to be found. Maybe they are...

Okay. I ran AVG and it showed no viruses. Now here is my hijackthis log. Also, I deleted everything except for Ad-Aware, Spybot and Norton.

I made some progress just messing around with my computer and I managed to open a couple programs, internet explorer being one of them, and i managed to get a hijackthis log.. Maybe this will help......

caperjack, i just finished scanning my computer and there were no infecttions found. what do you suppose i do now?
