Yeah... my new sites always get crawled quite quickly because i add a small text link to the bottom of all my well established sites.

Keep the links relevant and only to quality sites and your users will stay happy. google also likes you to link to a few relevant sites.

i think it is hard to get penalised by manually submitting to directories. it is when the process is automated and your link appears hundreds of times in the space of day that you need to worry!

nice and very clear but a bit homogeneous... just text and block colors... some graphical elements would help

nice design but i don't like it when sites have music... my download program tries to download the mp3 instead of playing it. annoying!

it is good but the elements all tend to merge together a bit. maybe some borders would help?
