who knows? This virus tends to disapper for a few days and then comes back all of a sudden. and to be honest if the virus checker didnt flag it up i wouldnt even notice any slow down or anything.

Hmmm intresting. It leaves a few back doors does it? Anything i can do to keep the utility but close the backdoors on the party poker software? I make a fair bit opf money from that site!

I put it back on beacuse i play a hell of a lot of online poker. and dunno its still entirely legally downloading!

I deleted that 013 gopher thingy and party poker but reinstalled party poker from thier website. Should i take it off again?

Yeah thats gotten rid of it cheers.

My virus checker is finding two instances of this virsus attached to iexplore.exe but can't do anything about it. Spybot is having no luck and i can't see anything obvious in my hijackthis logfile. ...

Basicly my computer is running very very poorly and none of my spyware/virus stuff is finding anything. Anyone got any ideas?

Right scanned in AVG it finds nothing. very little picked up in either adaware or spybot but my internet connection seems to be taking an age.

looking through my log file there are a fair few...

my mate was complaining about spyware from the www.wrestling-edge.com
you should be bombarded by lots of popups including a few that give lots of spyware if you download the files.

i can't find ct helper in msconfig there is howver a CTsysVol and a CTDVDDet.

cthelper does come up on a search and is located in my in the system32 folder.
