When i install the older version it says i have the newer version installed already so it doesnt let me download it. i try removing windows media player 10 but it just says rollback is completed and...

I tried to do a system restore but it was turned off so it wasnt saving anything. So i guess i'm screwed then huh?

just downloaded the new windows media player, same thing, even sucks more now because i can't even play a simple mp3. Something is seriously going wrong here. Please help me out. Thanks

Everysince I updated my windows from the windows update program my windows media player doesnt play the videos I use to be able to watch. I use to be able to watch everything I have, not anymore....

What mobo should I get then? Something cheap but good. And if I do get a new mobo will my computer work?

Im running a p4 processor, Gigabyte GA-8sG800 Motherboard, 32mb geforce 2 video card, 512mb ddr ram, Seagate baracuda hard drive, and regular burner and dvd player.

im sure the video card works because i've used it on my other computer, and when I turn the computer on the fan on the video card turns on.

I can't plug it into the motherboard.

So only the board needs to be replacedd?

So if it's fried I have to replace the motherboard only? My friend gave it to me, I traded some stuff with him.
