Try this

laptop 1 change the ip adress in network settings to 192.168.0.1
and sub netmask to 255.255.255.0

Same on other laptop 192.168.0.2 same sub 255.255.255.0

Computer 192.168.0.3 same...

A pop3 (or just pop) account is an email account. This is where mail will sit until you download/read it and decide to file it, delete it, etc.

With POP3, the mail is "popped" off the gmail...

The easiest way would be to get your self a cross over cable. connecting the to computers together .... make sure in same workgroup and under network connections give the computer with the internet...

I hjave a DV6000 ..... front left turn on the wifi switch and you should be good...
