Don't think so alot of registarar's send out an email when you make changes to the domain name did you get an email to the email on the account. The day you got the email is the day it changed

Sounds like a worm that messed up your dns and they are hard to clean try malware bytes ccleaner and I think there are tools out there to straighten out a computers dns but I forget which one I used...

Sounds like a dns problem did you try www.checkdns.net and see what email servers the domain is pointing to. did you try to telnet to the mail server?

The website a record needs to point to a public IP. if 1.1.1.1 is internal you will not be able to view that website outside the building
