Im not a big gamer but i would have to say , go with 790fx chipset amd2+ socket with athlon 64 x 2 6400+ or phenom 9550, ocz reaper ram and ....... just see attachment i just built ya a quick idea.

that all depends on the mother board you have. I would say if you have four slots with 4gig max then it would be 1gig per slot max and if 2 slots then.......well i guess it would have to be 2 x 2gig....

Ok, didnt quite get ya, ddr3 is a risk. personally i would go with dd2 as well but boards which take dd3 also take dd2 so why not get a board thats ready and buy some good twin pack reaper ram at 800...

your board will have to be a ddr 2 or ddr 3 board if thats the ram your are going to use.

go with ocz. They have a model called reaper which comes in 800 mhz. but if money is not a problem and you are getting a new board you could get a faster timmed reaper.
