I have to admit that I haven´t gone over all the threads, as dlh so concientously did. However, the point of my post is that I got a lot out of reading the pinned threads when I joined and it helped...

I´ve noticed that when you change your sig that all the posts that you have posted change to the new signature. It would be nice if that didn´t happen, for a little variety in the posts.

I´ve...

The problem is that in real life (as opposed to school) mistakes can cost you much more than bad grades. Realizing that we have to learn from mistakes, a teacher should point out that it is better...

OK, catweazle, I´ll go along with that...I still think that ad should cost them a lot more than the others. Exposure=$

Very good job! I´ll have to agree with scribbler that the add just above the quick reply is a nuisance. Reason being that you can´t see the previous post when writing the reply, so if you need to...

Hi Dani, yes, I´ve seen that but I´m not referring to internet marketing specifically or non-IT marketing.

I´m just interested in a subforum for IT-sales-related job offerings. We have...

It would be nice if there was a subforum for marketing types under water cooler. There are a lot of sales engineers that would be drawn here for that, and most of them are techies that changed to...

I believe that the reason the eye is drawn to the post over the header and the sig is because the user info is the same as the post. I naturally look at the user name and avatar and the eye follows...

What are you driving at, Acidburn?

So, is there an acceptable way to promote a new site? I guess what I'm asking is, how would you do it and how would you make it by the rules and not obnoxious?
