Could be a driver problem? rarely happens but try re-installing the driver for you etherent or wireless depends which is your connectivity you having trouble with ;)

I think you might have to ''Take Ownership Of The File'' there is a setting in the security I think where it says somthing with child in, I have only done it once sorry I couldnt be more help :(

I dont quite get what you mean but if im right you could change this in the share tab on the C:/ drive or through the local policy.

go into your setting of the sevice provider and it shoudl say something like pop settings and you can set it to do what you want
