Perhaps contact Microsoft Support and see if they can send you another CD. If you have a product key for the Streets and Trips (and you should, as you purchased the product) they MAY be able to help...

Use the CD that she installed the software with originally to do a "repair" install which will replace missing or corrupted files and [hopefully] set everything straight once again.

Get the error code and look it up on Google or Microsoft's website.
