i have a netgear router and i think its the best. the main competitor is belkin but i found their routers much much harder to set up.

im not too sure on this subject either but im pretty certain u can run a 1gb stick alongside a 512mb without problems. depending on whether ur computer has dual channel memory u will get better...

well...if nothing else works then yes. at least then you'll know its either a problem with windows itself or a hardware fault rather than a virus etc.

depending on your current machine the 64-bit could be faster. ghz is not an accurate measure of speed for amd processors because they can actually compete with intel systems with much higher ghz.
