im at my parents house and they have a wireless router and although it shows on my laptop that im connected to the wireless connection when i start my browser it says page not found

if it cant be fixed could i at least reinstall it? how?

one example in hotmail every link opens a new window but for me just a blank page pops up

i uninstalled seemingly unrelated programs like media players etc.

i recently deleted a lot of programs from my computer and when i logged on to the net with ie all the pop ups were blank so my use is now very limited can anyone help me?
