There is no setup.ini file, just a setup.exe, which i think is the problem. Also james i doubt its copy protection seeing as it installed the first time fine. I don't know what has gone wrong! ...

What happens if you have over 1Gb of RAM, i use 2Gb and used to get BSOD's , but it was nothing to do with Norts, it was due to some little piece of software. Speedbit are not good for playing games!

Not CPU time, but RAM would get used a lot. CPU would get drained however if you ran a scan with them at the same time. Otherwise with normal running of your computer your RAM would get used up.

Take out any other PCI card you have a boot. Leave the gfx card in. Do you still get the freezing problem? Also try, moving your RAM sticks into each slot that you have, may be a RAM slot issue.
