It may depend on the router, but generally turning off a wireless router should give you no problems with settings!

Hi and welcome! I suggest you try booting in safe mode. Before windows starts to load, hold F8. When in safe mode run another scan using avg - let us know how it goes! good luck

have you tried getting into safe mode? Hold F8 at boot up...Run a virus scan (full scan) These folks seem to have run iinto a similar problem. Good luck and let us know how you get on:

1. Right-click on setup(icon on cd).
2. Go to properties.
3. Go to compatibility tab.
