ewido is primarily an antispyware and will work fine with avg( i use both). but avg and norton will clash. if you need to take norton out, once uninstalled you will need to run the norton removal...

ah! now there's an idea. tried Ubuntu for a while, and about to switch to Suse 10.1 but needs more ram in my linux box cos it wont install on less than 512. from what i've seen it looks good

got em all guys! and part of my work is security and system recovery. the popups are genuine and from usually reputable sites. but hey i guess somethings got to get thru now and again.

just had yet another registry mechanic pop up. my system is generally pretty good but these guys take the biscuit! if their stuff was actually any good maybe they would be better off selling it on...

you have a pc infected with 'mywebsearch' spyware and probably others. go to control panel - add/remove programs and remove 'mywebsearch' and 'mysearchbar'. then get Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE and Spybot...

when i get awkward to remove stuff like this. i usually find it handy to use, run - msconfig and select diagnostic start up before i edit the registry. anything left afterwards should delete fairly...

you'd be better off downloading at a different time. the download speed is more likely to be limited by the capacity of the server you are downloading from and the number of people accessing it. i.e....
