Are you using a HTTP proxy in your Internet Options?

You can check this by going to Control Panel > Internet Options > "Connections" tab and then "LAN Settings".

Firefox has its own proxy...

On a quick run through some google results, it seems a few people managed to fix this issue by running a DCOM update. I would therefore recommend maybe running a Windows Update if possible.
