thanx but i am pretty much sattisfied (for now) with media player...

i dealed a lot with the two of them ..i re dl them and tryied to reinstall them ..same thing..so i simply deleted them and now i use windows media player and internet explrer 7 ...good old microsoft...

i did restore it this time to one week ago when all was ok, on reboot the problem is still there : seamonkey and jetaudio wont start and most of new stuff i try to install wont start installing .....

my problem is certain softwares that till 1 day ago worked , have stopped working today . More specifically jetaudio wont start (it just brings out a preferences window that asks to confirm...

well my computer and all its data i d say...havent had a problem though so far ..but i was wandering if to have an extra firewall software would b meaningful ...

do i need a firewall software when i already have a router (which acts itself as a a firewall)?

that sounds far too invasive to me ..i think ill learn how to live with the message...in any case this problem was not ther in the past , so i guess it got out of place a bit..

well my system is pretty old and it is a laptop pc as well...ram is pretty low (512)..another 512 would cost 1/4 -1/5 of the price of a new pc actually so i have my doubts about it...i was told that...

hm i see that makes sense...so the system idle doesnt really belong in the process column....
what is though quite weird is that some times even though i have only 1 application running and the idle...

i ve been noticing that my system after a while goes to "system idle"(alt+ctrl+del and u see "system idle process" on the bottom) and this usually takes up a lot of cpu -practically all of it and...

well considering its age and the fact that it is a laptop filled up wiht crapware and 2/3 of the hard space with mp3s ,it works quite fine..a bit slow due to 512 memory but i was thinking to upgrade...

well i modified the original by adding the "none" to the value data..nothing when i click to open for example the drive c it starts to search in the drive c instead of normally opening it

well i checked in regedit ..i think i already have this ..when i click on shell it comes out a key (Default) type REG_SZ but it doesnt have a value as "none".....so anyhow i created a new key in...

does this means i add a value (on regedit) to the key "shell" with the name of "none"? but what kind of value is this...
