i got another idea. are you sure you've exported the images properly to *.gif files? cos what you describe happens when you take lets say image.psd file and rename it to image.gif.

tv doesn't really help me relax or something so i don't really care about waterproof, fog-free tv screen in my shower.
on the other hand, i guess waterproof means they are safer.

i agree with jholland1964. there must be some part of Micro Av left on your computer and causing the problem. are you sure you've removed everything related to microav? here's micro av removal...
