Yes all the programmes I installed are there in the registry. Now I deleted the other account I can see all the programs in the Add/Remove list

Will Zone Alarm and AVG slow my internet speed?

I hate Norton, it used to scan each and everyfile I opened. My pc slowed down a lot. Is that becoz I have only 128mb ram or is it Norton's fault?

I'm using win XP. When I goto start -> Turn off computer, the standby option is greyed i.e. it cant be selected. Also there is no Hibernate tab in the power options in control panel. Plz help! :cool:

What happened was i deleted most of my applications without uninstalling then coz it would take more time if I uninstalled them separately.

Is it okay if I delete an application (without unistalling it) and then can i remove it from the registry??? :eek:

I have tried running Vb(version 6.0) under win 98 mode. It doesn't work. the error message is "Unexpected error;quitting"

I have 2 OS. Windows 98 and XP. I cant run Visual Basic in XP which I installed in Win 98. BUt i can run other programmes which i intalled in win 98 in win xp without problems.
