there is a 50-50 chance they were using the floppy to install the program in question

ok, are they usb or ps/2 devices ,if ps/2 then you maybe having an issue with the connection[on the motherboard ] on the back of the computer tower ,maybe try a usb keyboard if it not usb allready...

are you using a usb keyboard or a ps/2 one ,if usb ,maybe you could try a ps/2 keyboard and see if it works

hi ,sounds like you need to troubleshoot the card reader on the computer ,i would uninstall the reader and reinstall it first ,do this via the device manager .

no power lite ,indicates a wiring error in my opinion ,does your switch have indivigaul wire for each part ,psw led , and hdd led rest ect ect ,if yes some make sure the + and - are on correct pins....
