It is running much better but I wanted to be sure I was good. I believe I found a rootkit on the PC. The files removed started with TDSS and then 4 random lower-case letters.

After running some of the typical utilities I was able to get the PC to boot in normal mode (and it was a challenge). Here is the new Hijackthis log:

I cannot get to computer to start in normal mode. I can only get to a desktop in safe mode. Is there anything that I can do in Safe Mode (scan or preliminary clean)...

I found a utility called SDFix that was able to scan the machine in Safe Mode and remove ntos.exe (rootkit) and wlctrl32.dll....
