You have a MSI Mother board

What can cause a motherboard not to start up. I just need to know it works so what does it take for it to work at bear minimum. I just want to see a light flicker or a fan spin... somthing.

I don't know the "name" of my motherboard. I see N1996 with a check mark on the left and MS-6777VER:1 I would like to look up info but can't find anything. I'm trying to install it any good websites...
