SOS anyone, please
I'm having this problem with my internet connection with my laptop, the first time I installed my windows and Mozilla and IE my internet was working fine till it suddenly froze and could not access other websites except for the login page for inbox, yahoomail and gmail (I can't proceed with my normal login with them too), I receive ping replies both with my LAN and wifi connections, my wifi and LAN are gigabit broadcom installed on my Acer aspire 4310 laptop, and our router is a Linksys WRT 54G
BTW: one funny thing is that I can access my chikka messenger device and my winamp can also access shoutcast TV and radio stations through the net and that my AVG and Avast can regularly update themselves, what could be the problem?
I already put off my windows firewall yet it still would not allow me to view other websites
I used the same internet and network setting for our HP desktop computer and is working well as I can access and websites now on it (the HP desktop), both my laptop and our desktop use the same antivirus settings (AVG and Avast) yet only the HP desktop can connect to different websites
I tried re installing the drivers and even installing my usb-wifi on my laptop, still the same problem --no internet connection on other websites
please help
Thank you in advance

start > run
type cmd and press enter
a black screen appears. while your browser in another window is trying to surf the internet, in the black windows type netstat, let the command finish, might take up to 5 mins, and copy paste the output here.
as for HJT - look on the forum under the Viruses and Nasties branch - almost every topic there contains HJT.
