how can i make an error message appear for a input mask

i have an input mask that allows only 3 digets to be entered, but i want to show a message if someone enters this in wrong, how can i do so?

Hi,

Add in the validation rule: <=999
and the required message in the validataion text.

It is never about the number of languages you know, you either have the logic of programming or you don't ...

Some of the codes I post are collected from different sites during the past couple of years, so I would like to thank them for their help and for enabling me to help.
