first register a domain name then pm bluzman32 and he will be happy to sponsor the web hosting for your domain. What you get is 200mb of space and 5gb of transfer space not bad for free.

~ Here's a nice site I use. I've never seen it advertised anywhere so I'm not sure how popular it is. You get 100mb of space and no popups or advertising. The only thing they do is put a tiny little link at the very bottom of your page. It's not even a graphic...just 4 or 5 words really small. You don't have to register a domain name either. The only real catch is that no downloads fro your site are allowed. I don't know what type of site you're looking to put up but if it sounds like this could work for you...check it out.

Here's the address:

Many ISPs offer some web space as part of their package. If yours does then you could use that for your site - better than a 'free' host since they put ads all over your site.

If it is only for personal use there is no reason to register your own domain.
you might get you site name like this : www.youname.freehosting.com something like that.
You register your own domain when you want to establish your own business or separate identity. Not for personal resume or picture. But it is your choice.
